St. Mary's has a Ladies Sodality Group that has been doing amazing things for our Parish since the 1940s!

What is a Ladies Sodality? An inviting group of women of all ages who gather together to support each other, pray together, develop friendships, plan activities and raise funds for our beloved Parish.

Would you like to be more involved in the St. Mary's community? We invite you to join us--you can commit as much or as little as your time permits.

Some of our Fundraising Activities include...

• Bake sales 10 times annually. Paczki's for Fat Tuesday and Lamb Cakes at Easter.
• Summer Purse Bingo the third Saturday in July; a very popular community event!
• Used purse collection twice annually for the women's shelter at the Gospel Mission.
• Gathering food and hygiene essentials to be assembled into small bags referred to as "love pouches" for Deacon Pat Hall's outreach to those in need.
• Cookies and Caroling event for those who live by St. Mary's. Volunteers package 40 boxes of cookies containing a dozen cookies each. Then, we bundle up to walk around the neighborhood singing Christmas Carols while Deacon Pat knocks on doors to hand out the cookies, inviting each with a greeting to join us for Christmas Mass.
• Volunteering for Parish events such as Fall Gala, Parish Picnic, etc.

• Holy water Font and candle restoration
• Youth group trips to Right to Life Marches and camps
• Trail Life and American Heritage Girls- camping adventures
• St. Stephens Guild (Altar Servers)
• Altar Linens
• Organ replacement fund
• General Parish Support

• Quarterly business meetings at 6:30pm in September, November, March, and May in Father Bart Hall. Dessert only.
• Cleaning group meets on Tuesday mornings following the 8am Mass. We clean the Altar/Sacristies/pews, restock candle holders, etc. before going to the office and cleaning floors, kitchen, and bathrooms. We are always looking for additional help.
• Lunch Bunch meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month (October-June) at Main Street Pub, Gull Road at noon. All are welcome. Contact Irene for more info.

• Next meeting: Monday, December 11, 2023: noon at Roxies on Gull Road (Annual Christmas Luncheon). Please bring a $10.00 gift to exchange. Deacon Pat Hall will be joining us.
• Lunch Bunch: canceled due to lack of interest.
• Bake Sale: December 2-3 after all Masses, to benefit the St. Stephens Guild (altar servers). Your contributions of baked goods and purchases will be appreciated.
• Cookies and Caroling: December 9th. Cookies: We need donations of 40 boxes or tins of 1 dozen cookies each.  We need volunteers to bake cookies, tins and package them  at 10:00am.  We also need someone to donate a hot lunch for the workers and singers @ 11:00am.  Please bring your cookies and/or tins to Father Bart Hall by 10:00 am on the 9th. • Purses for the Ladies at the Gospel Mission: At our Christmas Luncheon, we will be collecting your donations of used ladies' purses or totes filled with personal items such as toiletries, socks, snacks, etc.
